2013 Winter Weekend Jan. 25 & 26
This excellent marriage enrichment weekend for eligible couples* is a great way to strengthen your marriage. Enjoy time away together as you learn the skills you need to communicate better and deepen your relationship. This weekend will fill quickly so do not wait to apply.
There is no cost for the weekend and it includes:
-Friday night stay at the New Harmony Inn.
-Three meals including lunch at the Red Geranium.
-All your workshop materials.

We have had cancellations but we have a waiting list of about 30 couples. You may want to consider our Sweetheart Weekend on Feb. 22 & 23 http://communitymarriagebuilders.com/2012/06/05/love-for-life-new-harmony-weekend/ or our Spring Weekend on April 12 & 13 at the Gasthof Amish Village.
What topics/activities will be discussed at the weekend marriage enrichment seminars? Were curious.

Most of the weekend will be based upon a tool called the Relationship Attachment Model that helps you keep your relationship in balance by looking at Five key areas: Know, Trust, Rely, Commit, and Touch. The goal is to help couples meet each others needs and deepen commitment. Hope this helps.
Do you offer just one day marriage enrichment workshops? And will there be another free workshop in New Harmony this year?

Most of our marriage enrichment workshops are on a weekend. We do have some workshops for couples in distress called “Revive” and those run once a week for four weeks. We will not have anymore “No Cost” weekends in New Harmony this year but we will have one in Lake Barkley and French Lick later on in the year. I have been waiting for this! My husband and I have been trying so hard to find time together since we decided to work on it after separating this summer, and honestly, we can’t afford the $199 for February. I saw the commercial for the first time today and it’s all booked! *sigh*

I hope my husband and I can go to this. This would mean the world to us!! We haven’t been to a workshop ever. We have always talked about it but never done it. We have been married 16 1/2 Years and want to be married longer, but making time for ourselves is a problem.

What time does it start? Is this at the new harmony inn or do we just stay there and the conference is somewhere else? I would like to attend and just had some questions since i have never been to one before.
Josh, registration and a light dinner starts at 5:30pm on Friday the 25th. The conference will be in two different locations one of which is the New Harmony Inn.
I hope we can do this for we have been married for 15 years and already had so man hurdles to jump and we are really struggling to hold on but still love each other and think we need help. Hope to get into this.

How many openings are there? I have already filled out app. Just wondering and thank you for having this!

What are the dates for this? I’m really hoping my husband and I can do this but we will both have to get off of work.
The dates are the 25th and 26th of January. It is a Friday night and Saturday.

I just completed the online app for the winter weekend class but I did not know the exact date…I just put Jan 5th on the app…but I’m interested in the overnight 2013 winter weekend. Hope we can attend, sounds great!

Just signed up for the weekend at New Harmony; Michelle and I are looking forward to it!
I would love to be able to do this with my husband! We have been married for two years and have a pretty solid relationship, however we do have issues when other stressors from life come into play. It would be great to maybe learn how to not let outside factors affect our relationship or just to figure out how to deal with these things better as a couple. Thank you!
