BYU-Idaho Symphonic Band
The BYU-Idaho Symphonic Band will be performing at North High school in Evansville on Thursday, April 18th. This great night of music for the whole family begins at 7:00pm. Tickets will be $5 per person with family prices available. All the proceeds for this event will be donated to Community Marriage Builders.
The BYU-Idaho Symphony Band is a select group of 47 woodwind, brass and percussion students who perform significant wind literature from a variety of musical periods and styles. Under near professional conditions, this distinctive group of instrumentalists present premiers of original works for band, orchestral transcriptions, solo concertos and popular music. The Symphony Band draws on compositions from such composers as Bach, Mozart, Berlioz, Sousa, and Copland.
