Revive – skills for distressed couples

The Revive workshop for distressed couples is offered multiple times per week.  It gives couples practical skills to help them work out their issues on their own.  Topics include:  communication, conflict resolution, anger management, letting go of grudges, and learning to love your spouse in appropriate ways.   You will be equipped with the tools you need to bring life and vitality back to your relationship.

There is no “group sharing” and workshop numbers are kept low so that couples can get more one-on-one time with the marriage educators.  Couples will have an opportunity to work with their spouse during the workshop in order to solve problems and practice the tools.

There is no cost for the workshop.

  1. My husband had an affair 2 years ago and I cannot seem to get past it. I bring it up all the time and have a hard time figuring out if I love him anymore. Would this be a good shop to attend?

    • Samantha,
I would suggest that you go ahead and apply for our “Revive” workshop by using the link on the page. You may also want to check out our list of counselors. Your issue may need more support than what the workshop will provide. Thanks

  2. I believe my husband is going through a mid life crisis or might possible be bipolar and I am not the only one, all of the sudden snap Oct 16 everything just stopped. He cannot see thatanything he has been doing is out of the normal, I don’t want to go into all of because I would be here for days typing, but we need help now. I don’t know if he will go, but I am going to try. He has me to the point of feeling total no emotionals, no feel just numand I hate it, he has put doubt and mis trust in my mind and I hate that. Well that’s all. I would give anything to have my baby doll back, but I don’t know if that is possible. I do take blame in a lot of this but I am trying and I know the mistakes I have made, but he sees nothing as different. All about him

    • Cindy,
Thank you for having the courage to ask for help, that is a big first step. After you fill out your application our Intake Coordinator will contact you in order to get you in a workshop that benefits you the best. You may also want to look at our Counselor’s list under the resources tab because your issues may require more help than our workshop can provide.

  3. My wife and I are coming up on our tenth anniversary this year, but have more or less separated recently. We are interested in couples counseling, but she feels that she needs individual counseling before couples sessions would be productive. Is there a way you can help us get started? Thanks in advance.

    • Pete,
We have a list of counselors on the site located here https://communitymarriagebuilders.com/resources/counselor-list/ Many of them do individual counseling as well as couples counseling. You may also want to try the “Revive” workshop so that you will have some tools that you can use in counseling to communicate more effectively. I would suggest that you go ahead and fill out the application, then our intake coordinator will then contact you in order to help you figure out what will work best for you. Thanks
